Gumpwa Luong - 3D printer in

Things I've Made

About me

This started as a hobby a few years ago and I think I am ready to create products for customers.

I can print from 0.1mm to 0.4mm on a print bed of ~300mmx300mmx250mm. I have been printing Reprap printed parts to create other 3D printers and interesting looking things from thingiverse.com.

One thing customers need to know are the limitations of my 3D printer. I can currently print one color at a time, and the STL model is required to be printable. Models that have parts hanging from mid-air require support to be printed and is quite difficult to get a nice print. Good practice is to have a nice flat base.

The cost of a print will depend on few factors: quality, size and time.

Quality: Layer heights from 0.1mm to 0.4mm
Size: How big is the model you are printing (volume, weight etc)
Time: How many hours your print takes. Unlike cell phone plans, I will not round to the nearest hour :)

Looking forward to hearing from you!

My Reviews

Jarett S.

Gumpwa took the time to ensure my complicated print came out the way I wanted, he was also open to making small amendments to the original order (e.g. swapping a color for one file). He was patient, forthright, and attentive and made an excellent product - it was like working with a friend!

Gump was extremely helpful in checking the designs before printing. Though the printer is older, and the print cost is very high compared to other places if you're ok having your prints shipped to Edmonton.
