About me
My name is Jordan and I'm a research scientist at a consulting firm just north of Atlanta, Georgia. In my spare time I enjoy tinkering on and making things with my Prusa i2 with Z axis stabilizers.
Since joining makexyz I have helped multiple clients through the design and prototyping stages for their inventions. Whether you're working on patenting a product or finalizing a design before beginning production I can help. With several years experience using Autodesk Inventor I can assist in both adjusting and finalizing the design of your models, as well as printing prototypes.
My Prusa i2 is fairly well tuned and is a continuing work-in-progress. With a smaller nozzle--a 0.35 mm J head--coupled with a maximum resolution of 0.1 mm layer height I can create highly detailed prints. In addition I offer acetone vapor smoothing as well as other post processing options to improve the look and feel of your parts. You can see an example of vapor smoothing in picture #6, the orange rattle-mace and the white part in picture #7.
Depending on the length of time it requires to print the parts I try to have next day turn around on orders. If you need something in a short time I'll do my best to accommodate you.
