Advice on getting a log splitter
posted in Community by

I manage to use an axe for some of the tree sections, but some are hard to split due to knots etc. and I think a proper splitter would be useful.
Anyone got one that they could recommend?
Thanks,

" kassadi - I would also advise buying an electric log splitter, it's easier to maintain and to use due to its easy and safe operation. Every summer I go to the village with my grandmother and help her prepare for the winter, and I cut logs with an electric log splitter. I bought an electric one from this site https://trimthatweed.com/best-electric-log-splitter/, so even my grandma could cut logs when she needs them. We had a mechanical one and it was also high-quality and durable but it hadn't had that power what the new ones have, and sometimes it locked in position. The electric log splitter, base on my experience, is more efficient."
Thanks for sharing, I think it's time to buy a new log splitter for my grandfather.
