I have a carpeted porch, but the carpet is worn in an obvious place. I was thinking of turning the carpet over so that the worn spot would be in a less visible area. Or buy a new carpet and put it on top of the old one. I have a budget, and also I'm not able to do a lot of hard work, so I was just trying to save myself from having to tear up the old carpet. Which plan do you think is best, or should I just go with the new carpet?

- You need to punish your puppy somehow. But please don't hit him. You can scare him when he wants to ruin your carpet again, then, most likely, he will understand. I remember when I had a little shepherd dog at home, she would eat everything she could. It made me so mad, I didn't know what to do. But then, when the dog grew up, she stopped doing it. But the carpets were all ruined. It's a good thing that I had a friend who advised me to give all the carpets to a carpet repair agency, which helped me a lot. So be patient. A little bit of a puppy will grow up and stop doing it.
