All this talk on here about building a printer (thanks @augustaht) has got me tempted!
Seems like a Prusa i3 might be a good gateway drug.
Anyone have experience building one of these? Opinions?

- I have one. It's a good starter if you find the right set for the Prusa. As with all Mendel machines there are a plethura of different iterations of the each style. You want to make sure you get the one with all the updates and reworks of parts. Or buy a complete kit from Luzbot or Ultimachine for around $800. Then just assemble!
