I look at the available jobs periodically and they always seem to have prices for the printer that are way too low. The latest is a fascia for a car radio or infotainment system. The part is pretty involved and 940 cm3, the price is about $27 (less than you would pay to buy this mass produced). Based on the volume, It looks like a$200+ job to me.

yellowjester - I couldn't print anything that large, but if I could, I'd charge MUCH more than $27. I'm pretty sure the available jobs system is a scam. Their pricing is utterly out of whack. I tried uploading a model that I downloaded from the available jobs to see what it would cost the buyer, and the value was around what I would charge to do the print, but was about 3 times higher than what would be paid to the printer. So for these jobs, MakeXYZ seems to be taking people's money, and then trying to get us to print a job for a pittance while they pocket 70% of the payment.

makerbeck - I get emails about them. I think you can subscribe. Also, if you look at the top of your own homepage there should be a menu choice at the end on the right called INFILL. Click on that and it will show currently available orders. Base on my business model most are not worth doing. Those that are get scarfed up quickly, pretty much before I even see them. Someone may have a Bot running that grabs them.
