File Converters?

Anyone here have any recommendations on file conversion software? Folks keep loading up 3d files and either don't have the original software or don't have any idea how to export to an STL file. It would be easier if I could just convert to STL myself. Any suggestions? I found this program on one of the 3d news sites http://www.i3dconverter.com/index.html and wondering if anyone has any other ideas.

blackshadow1946 - One way that I convert files is that I have multiple programs that open multiple file types that can export STL's easily

n23d - Yes I have rhino3d. Send me the file I will convert it for you. Rhino can load many other files and is reasonably priced for what it can do.

mkapras - I'm still waiting for the file. The customer who asked is apparently woefully technically illiterate. But it's not the first time this has come up! I suppose I'm just looking for the right tool to put in my toolkit. I'm willing to spend at least a little on it if it works well.
