Hi… I had a trust deed which ended around 2009…in the last few months… I have been getting letters, texts and phone calls from a company called Link Financial for an old debt which was part of my trust deed. Furthermore, I know they legally don't have a leg to stand on and the debt is statue barred anyway, and I have tried to ignore them, but it seems to be getting more frequent, so I am wondering if I should send them a statue barred letter to try and stop them contacting me ?...thanks for any help with this.

- hey, try to address to lawyers and see what rights and variants of proceeding you do have in this situation. However, I suggest you find more about your rights on llemberglaw.com and be sure that you will be able to protect yourself, to defend your rights if the collectors are "overusing" their power. If I were you, I'd have a professional lawyer just next to me, who would teach me, give instructions and support because being followed by collectors, even if they don't have any rights in your case, may be pretty difficult. When I was in similar situation, Penn Credit gave me hard times, to be honest. Just know your rights and don't be scared to stand up for them!

- Of course, you have to deal with it. You can be sure that they won't let you go before that, so if you want to leave peacefully - contact a lawyer. I can suggest checking out the following link https://stoner-law.com/business-lawyer-philadelphia/ to find the best one. This company helped me when I had problems with my business, and I'm sure it'll solve your problem too.

- Credit is not always the best way out of a situation. This is most often a bad option. Thus, you can lose everything that you have.

- Most often, the debt collectors of these companies use legal action as a tactic of intimidation, but they lack the documentation to actually follow through when someone calls them. You can read the blog on portfolio recovery lawsuit on https://attorneydebtfighters.com/sued-by-portfolio-recovery-associates/ to be informed if this situation arises.

- If the bank is trying to charge you extra interest on your debt, I advise you to contact Accredited Debt Relief https://crixeo.com/debt-consolidation/accredited-debt-relief-review/ here qualified employees will help you solve your problem. At one time, I turned to them and they helped me solve my problem with the debt to the bank. I am very glad that this company turned out to be reliable, so I can safely recommend it to you.
