My situation is this: My 3D printer is on the southern end of the area that is likely to hire me. (ie, high, technically savy population. Go south and it's all farmland.) But I work 45 minutes north. That means while my printer is in Spanish Fork, UT it would be beneficial for me to get jobs from Salt Lake, Murray, Provo, Orem, etc. In fact I have had jobs from those areas, but most of them from another listing in Provo who's printer is down so he's been syphoning work to me. He's not doing that any more so I'd like to do the siphoning myself. I could change my profile, but that's not exactly honest. I could create a new profile, but same problem.
Any suggestions?

- This started as an e-mail to Nathan, but I realized I could do more with the community here, and you go and throw me back. I see how it is. I'll just go to Nathan from now on. </scarsacm>

- I am not sure what the issue is unless you are concerned about people wanting to pick stuff up and being unhappy to find you are not as close as they thought. I hardly ever have people pick up stuff, mail it 90% of the time, so location is not much of an issue.
Sell them on your service, not your location. Talk about working with customers in SLC, Provo, etc. in your description.

- The situation is when someone inputs their zip code in MakeXYZ if they're in SLC they don't see me as an option because my distance is so far away.
...actually I just checked and I'm #2 on the list in SLC. I guess things are just slow right now. Hmm.

- I just got a second printer and have it listed under a different location, its in my area but not my town. This works and if these areas are close enough you may end up having two different results in a search each showing you at different location. This may be confusing for people so I don't know if I'll keep it this way.

- Hi guys! I know that in our time it is difficult to find a job on the Internet, because there are a lot of job seekers, and there are few worthy vacancies. To stand out from the crowd, you need to have a good resume. I recommend going to the site https://edureviewer.com/best-resume-writing-services-for-veterans/ and find a good service there.

- I think in any case, you yourself will make the final decision. But listening to different opinions can be useful, you can learn a lot of useful things for yourself. So when looking for a job, I did not immediately pay attention to the importance of writing a professional resume and the search process took me a long time. At this time, I was interrupted by part-time jobs, but not in the positions I was looking for. A friend suggested going to a professional resume writing service https://skillroads.com/free-resume-review They can also help with a cover letter if needed. In the end, I got the perfect resume and found the job I wanted.
