what's everyone's opinion on how TESLA just made its patents available to the open source movement? AWESOME.. anyone here know about printoo already? The Future's going to be fun... I'm looking for some Investors and Dreamers :)

- Tesla Didn't quite make it's Patents open-source I would like to clarify this.
If you did that it wouldn't make ANY business sense and stock prices would fall through the floor.
What they did was say they weren't going chase any patents infringements. This makes me concerned because all that the Open-source movement has to fall back on legally is essentially a verbal agreement. As the Open-source group generally don't have a huge amount of legal presence, a turn-around by Tesla could result in many many open-source ventures being crushed.
Anyway, my two cents
