Anyone know an easy way to convert a solidworks file to an STL file?

blackshadow1946 - You have to save the file in SolidWorks as a STL. Open the file in SolidWorks then go to Save As then go to the drop down menu where is says "SolidWorks file .(whatever it is, I can't remember) then drop it down and choose .STL

n23d - Or you can load the file into any cad program that can read solid works files. And save it as an STL file. There are also some viewers that can read solid works files and save STL files. I use Rhino3d it can load solid works and save STL files. I believe there is a free demo version of Rhino3d good for 90 days http://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino/5/latest?PageSpeed=noscript

You'll get a free 7 day trial and then afterwards it is between $10-$15/month.

We used to use 3DTransform.com but have had issues with them lately.

3Dtransform seems like a helpful utility. Though no solidworks support. Also the site isn't taking my file right now.

I wish there was a web-based option. Downloading a free trial kinda sucks.
