I'm new to 3D printing and trying to fix my pricing, I feel the length of a print is a better value to charge prints than the weight.

What printer are you using?
I'm only familiar with Makerware.
In Makerware, when you slice the part it tells you how many grams of filament you are using.
I always thought the the length of the noodle would be the same as the gram weight of the part.
I'm no expert, but this is my 2 cents worth.
