I booked a hotel in Prague which was non refundable on my credit card, my flight is cancelled & easy jet have reimbursed my card so I contacted Sainsburys bank today to claim on my card for the hotel but they won't as its non refundable. I did say if it was refundable then I would't need to claim. I feel I have paid for something that I can't have as we cannot get into the czech republic

- I've had bad experiences with hotels that claim to be non-refundable, even though they have no right to do that. You can always ask for your money back if you don't use the hotel. Smaller hotels do this a lot for some reason. I feel bad for them because they've had it bad during the pandemic, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't give your money back because you couldn't go there because of COVID. I haven't had any problems since I started using hotels recommended on the Westgate Resorts website.
