You have a really long print going -- the one I was running last night was a 14 hour job; everything is running fine for 13 hours and 30 minutes, but then, with like, barely 5% of the print left.... disaster strikes. In my case, the filament jammed.
Now you have a 95% complete print and a lot of burned printer hours.
What do you guys usually do in this situation? Is there a path to this part's salvation? If you're using a non-makerware slicer, do you check what layer you were on and try to restart the print from that layer on?

The best advice to give you is to measure and reprint the remaining. Gluing the two parts together are difficult if you infill is very little. Not much to glue too.
Or try to weld it with a soldering iron flat tip.....
But.... I think I'm going to go with @elpulpo's technique instead :)
