The "Open Print Job" tool is going to screw all the printers and customers. So basically, people who know nothing about 3D printing post jobs at a random price. This will be great for customers wanting small simple parts. But bad for all but the hungriest printers. Today, however, there were two huge prints (16" wide and >1kg of plastic) with an impossible deadline and a ridiculous price that didn't take into account the supports required to print. There is no way to interact with the buyer to clarify or comment before accepting or rejecting (we need a reject button as well). Now, I have a gigabot, so I can print these large parts whole, but I will not accept these orders. Probably someone with a few smaller printers will accept and chop up the part and glue the pieces together. Not so good for the customer. Anyway, even though I don't like it, I think this trend is here to stay. There was a new site printit4me.com that will take a direct hit from makexyz from this feature. It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta print it.
