Optimal Shape for Studio (Floor Plan)
Given the option to build a wooden 'shed' structure for my future home studio, I'd like opinions on what shape for the business end. I know symmetry is not necessarily good (square of rectangular) so as I'd design and build it myself, what are your opinions of these two shapes - or any other ideas most welcome. Note - not to scale; just basic shape ideas.

Designed primarily for mixing and recording single instruments possible including live drums, but not live bands.

liverskaya - Build a room of the most common square shape, and then you can, for example, round the corners and get something like a semi-oval.

zombotrec - As for me, the form on the right will be more practical. As say, the fewer angles the better. Of course, it'd be much easier if you made a more classic shape of the room (such as a square or a rectangle). When I came up with a shape for my house, I came across an attractive site that collected many plans and shapes for a house or room https://www .boutiquehomeplans.com/. In general, if I were you, I'd think about making some other form so that it would be easier to plan and build in the future
