PDF signing software on Linux
I'm new to the forum, so maybe I missed the category. I have a few questions:

Is there a PDF reader in linux(in this case in manjaro) that can sign documents in the format .pdf using a smart card reader

If so, what is it?

I tried to install Adobe Reader DC via wine, but only got an empty Adobe Download Manager window. And after going to the winehq page about Adobe Reader DC, it says that the signature will not work.

I hope I won't need to double-boot Windows just for this.

brandondyer - This should be easier to do on Linux, right?

petesreav - I still haven’t managed to do this. It's taking too long when I try to do it, and I decided to look for a new way to do this. I googled it, and I found a way to sign your PDF documents online.
You go to https://pdfliner.com/sign_pdf_online and do your thing. It's easy to use, and anyone can get used to it quickly. When I realized how easy signing your PDF files can be, I can't understand why others make it so difficult.
Others should look at how the guys at PDF liner made it, and they should strive to make something similar. I will be using that website until I find something better, but I don't think I will replace it with something else soon.
