hi,
My 7510e doesn't Wake up when a print job is sent to it.
I never turn it off when I send to it from my ipad.
However, if I send it a print job from any of my desktoop laptops, the printer icon in the Devices and printers section turns gray, saying "off line status" "not connected".
For some reason, there are 2 entries for the same printer:
"HP Photosmart 7510 series (Network)" & " HPDDF980 (HP Photosmart 7510 series)
Currently (having just turned off the printer and then turned it on) " HP Photosmart...." (set by default) says it is enabled (the icon is black), but "HPDDF..." is inactive (turned off and not connected).
It looks like there is no software update, and the same problem is displayed on both the desktop computer and the laptop (excluding that it is a PC problem.
Is it because the printer is not completely new?
of Course, it should work as intended?
Is there an ide, how can I fix this? or - (because I'm sure it will be suggested) how to completely erase all traces of the printer from my computer and how to restart the printer drivers from scratch-actually reinstall everything.
Thanks
