Recover data on Mac OS

This problem has started occuring recently, but it already gave me a lot of trouble. Basically, I've been dealing with some sort of data corruption issue. I don't have the time to use a service right now, so I want a backup solution that I can trust.

daniel1 - Well, you're in luck, since Apple has it's own file backup software that's bundled with Mac computers called Time Machine. Make sure you read https://onmac.net/how-to-restore-from-time-machine-backup/ before using it, as a lot of new users are lost when it comes to restoring from the backup. You don't want to botch this process, as this can lead to data loss and other unpleasant things.
