- Printing pla and making lost pla molds to fill with molten aluminum. I have videos and pics on my instagram @natecommabolin , I'm in awe that almost anything I can print I can cast in aluminum. almost done building a second i3 printer, not looking forward to configuring firmware :( and considering getting a DBA to turn this profitable hobby into more of a business. What's everyone else workin on?
Every once and a while I try to post a question to get some discussion going.
Sadly, this week I had to move out my office and back into my house....Obama said that this tax season I need to give him everything I have in the business account.....so there is a chance that I might be shutting down the business completely....
I will still do 3D Design and printing. I have been applying to be a fireman since October....Such a long process! I just finished my physical/drug test. That way I can get some insurance and steady pay check.
In the time being I will create a new business model that deals with more specialized printing. To me I think just being a 3D Printing company will not work in the near future. Printers are becoming more and more available in stores. Software is becoming easier... I still think we are a long way off from our grandparents having it in there house and printing things they want. lol But, I want to use my printers as a tool in my business instead of a business.
I find we need to become more specialized with printing and focus on that. If we get jobs on here or any wheres else then YES take them. Its fun to get these random things to make and get some money with it...lol

- Im so sorry to hear that Vinnie. That turbiney model you build was a bloody masterpiece and your business deserves the recognition for it. Maybe a blog on MXYZ would help Nathan to explain to people just what goes into something like that. I fear you're right that we need to build a business around 3D printing and design, rather than printing and design in, and of themselves.
Just wait. In a years time, you'll have designed a 3D printed product that'll prevent deaths from fire and the world will make a path to your door.
Don't blame Obama, mate. It wasn't him who spent trillions on invading countries. He's just been left to pick up the pieces. My opinion, only.
