i was updating the old resume and couldn't help but wonder, what do we call ourselves? are we 3d printists? 3d printers? 3d print comissioners? 3d print manufacturers?

- Call yourself a 3D builder, builder is associated with the movement of small desktop or kit printers and all the wonderful and weird possibilities that come with it.

- I wouldn't limit the description to the concept of 3D printing or additive fabrication. A more generalized term I think is more appropriate for a resume, but then you list the finer details of what experience you have.
Example:
=Work History= CNC MACHINIST, 2008-PRESENT Specializing in custom part fabrication through additive machinery solutions... yadda yadda, dadda, dadda...
=Skills= CNC Additive Printer Software solutions of choice
The key here is to not be too specific with your title that a potential employer gets stuck thinking inside the box. Even though you may not have played with a lathe or a mill, you want to point out your experience with programming and running a CNC tool.
