Tool to help connect and disconnect hydraulic quick connects?
Many years ago I saw a tool at an AGG show that helped compress the collar on your typical pioneer couplings to ease connecting and disconnecting. It allowed you to better push the collar back. It slipped over the collar and at the rear of the fitting and you squeezed the pliers as you worked with the male fitting. Has anyone run across this lately? AND Yes I know I can replace the female connections with quick release that the collar will work in two directions, My hands are getting weaker in my old age that it sometimes is a bear to get the coupling attached or removed. Yes I do release all line pressure too before attempting the attachment or removal.

kingishut1 - I am not sure about the tool you mentioned, but based on my experience, I can confirm that the Caldwell hydraulic quick connect tool is the closest to what you're describing. It makes the job of changing tools quick and easy. Works with all hydraulic quick connects except some Miller Brand part numbers. The tool is made of high-quality steel that is coated with black paint. The handle is ergonomically designed to give you a firm grip. The tool's overall length is 12 inches and weighs just 1.5 pounds. On another note, my new project requires some reliable fasteners, and I was wondering if anyone tried https://www.scrooz.com.au/screws/decking-screws/ and if it was any good. Thanks, and God Bless!
