Torrent Terminology
You can't say that you know what torrent is until you have studied the terminology of the protocol. If you haven't used torrent before, or have used it only a handful of times, you will probably be confused by the sheer number of unfamiliar terms when you visit a torrent tracker. To help prevent this, share the basic terms for the torrent you are using.

This is directly the process of sharing files through the torrent protocol. Distribution participants also have their own definitions. According to their role in the distribution, they are divided into categories:
- Peers - clients who participate in the distribution;
- Sides - users who are in the distribution and have all segments of the file;
- Lickers - users who do not have all segments of the file; accordingly, they continue downloading. Sometimes the term can be used in a negative sense to mean someone who downloads more than they give away. This definition of a lich is used in other file sharing networks;
