- From how I envision the hot end works, as he mentioned each nozzle gets plugged so it doesn't ooze, PLA probably doesn't work well. I would imagine PLA jamming, a lot...

- Yes, I had forgotten about the needle valve. I saw the robox at CES, and it looks like a very nicely put together design. For some reason they weren't running them, but it was Friday so perhaps they were done printing for the show. The extruder is a nice little package.
