joseph312 - I don't think it's the religion, but the community/cults or church. People tend to believe what those of higher ranks tell without informing if it's true or not. And others get benefits from belonging to organized groups. I still remember when a new church was open 5 minutes away from my home. I went there a few times, but I always felt discomfort. I started realizing that what the priest said had no logic at all. They were using the church for business. I never went back there again.
