hi everybody,

Like everyone else, we are now home-schooled. I'm fine with the content, but I have no idea how much time to devote to each topic.

This is my topic group

Math ( + ,×,÷, -)
Math (Figures, fractions)
Reading
Literacy
Science (we deal with plants and habitat)
Artistic
geography (rivers and mountains)
History (Industrial Revolution)

Are there any primary school teachers or anyone in the course who can help me with the time breakdown for the above.

petesreav - You should devote the same time to all the subjects, that's how they do it in school right?

katherineturner - You should spend more time with the stuff your kid struggles with.

brandondyer - You should have the school schedule, and you can follow it. Still, homeschooling is great because you can spend time studying things your kid has problems with. You can modify the schedule any way you like, and that's the beauty of homeschooling.
My kids struggled with first grade reading worksheets, and we had to devote more time to that subject. After focusing on that and doing exercises, their English improved.
I want my kids to go back to school as soon as possible because I can see they're missing interaction with their friends. Homeschooling is great, but I want them to go back.
