Hello all,

We just recently purchased a second hand z510 spectrum but we have not been able to figure out how to connect it to our PC.
We are artists and we have very little IT knowledge and before we start looking around to hire somebody we thought trying this forum first.
If anyone happens to know how this can be done, please give us a hand!

kpart - Thank you ivanpope. I have the manual and unfortunately there is not a single word that's telling you how to connect the printer to the PC.
It only say that you need a 10/100 ethernet cable and that's about it.
I tried directly and via router but the PC does not see the printer.

cwho - Hook it up to your network. It sits on your network like a network printer not directly connected to a PC like a RepRap type machine.. You need to run Zprint 7.10 or about that version (not the new 3d systems version as that is not correct for the 510) on another networked PC to connect.

We are selling some used 131 powder cheap. It is left over from when we switched to the new 151 powder. It is a good powder to get you started because it is OEM and will give you a good baseline. let me know if you need more help with your machine.

kenny6 - I'm willing to bet that every PC user has had situations where some kind of virus or illegally installed software has caused your drivers to fail. I think I am not the only one. I encountered the problem that it is very difficult to find a suitable website with which to safely install generic pnp monitor driver, but I managed to find https://softwaretested.com/drivers/generic-pnp-monitor/. Now in case of emergencies, I know where to safely download drivers.
