Hello fellow makers!
I'm an Industrial Designer that specializes in Product Design.
I'm SolidWorks certified and I work from home in a live/work loft.
I do 3D printing, CAD, and Product Photography on the side:

Printer:
I own and print with a finely-tuned 3D printer. The quality I can achieve with this 3D printer is on par with some of the professional FDM machines.
Materials:
I am only able to print in ABS and UltraT (a mystery polymer that is stiffer than ABS). ABS is my default print material.
3D Software:
I own a (legitimate) seat of SolidWorks 2013, and that is my go-to CAD software.
Steps to get a quote:
1. Click the "CONTACT" button above.
2. Tell me your job details.
3. Upload your file.
(STL or Parasolid (.x_t) file types)
Notes about pricing:
- $30 minimum -
I will be quoting based on machine-time and human-time.
Machine-Time:
$10 - $18 / hour
Human-Time (if you request post-processing):
$40.00 / hour
Human-Design-Time (if you request design work):
$50 - $100 / hour
Because makeXYZ requires a "cost per volume":
I have tried to estimate my machine-time costs relative to part volume, and it comes close to $0.75 - $1.50 per (solid) cubic cm depending on layer height (or $12 - $24.00 per (solid) cubic inch). Your CAD software should be able to tell you the volume of your part. This should allow you to get a very rough estimate. For a proper estimate, please just take the steps listed above.
Note about rush orders:
If necessary, I allow rush-orders for a $100 fee. My typical turn-around time is within 24-48 hours, but if you have a large-job or there are other jobs lined-up before yours, then I can't make any promises to deliver so quickly. For $100 I am willing to bump your job in the Que, and wake-up at odd-hours to tend to the machine.
Thank You.
