This mod adds a few layers of material to a pibow case in order to include the Raspberry Pi camera in the enclosure or on top of it as a platform.After purchasing a Raspberry Pi camera, I disassembled and assessed my son's Pibow case taking notes and drawing schematics on graph paper. I used the Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) from Pimoroni to layout the new layers for laser cutting. I converted the .ai files to eps and imported that into Inkscape. Next, I converted the .eps into a .xps file that was could be interpreted by our laser cutter at FamiLAB. Notes on first version: I am reworking the top slots as they have caused the camera cable to disconnect from it's connector. No damage was done other than loss of signal. I have the fix and will post within the week... 1) The camera mounting slots on the top layer currently allow extra wiggle room to keep the components on the board safe from being damaged. Placing the camera into this slot should not damage the surface mount components, however applying further force to the camera once in the slot may, so take care. The slots are intended for inserting the camera (opposite side from ribbon - upside down). Since the slots have the extra room, the camera doesn't always sit snug...
