I wanted to buy a gear puller, but why do not print it? There is one on TW which does not work, it's too weak. There are some issues. The plastic is strong when there is much of it. It does not work, when we try to pull the gear with plastic edges. So, I made the edges of steal. I have used rivets that are widely available. I think This is the spirit of printing. No suitable tool? Think and Print it! No matter, that almost every tool which increases force is made of steel. Made of ABS works too! And even does not squeak and break neither! The rivets are placed at the angle to the layers, so the thing is strong as every layer keeps the rivets in place during screwing-in the shaft-push-screw I have pulled successfully the gear without destroying it !!! (Which I wanted the most!!!) I have tried another gear, but which was secured by make the shaft end a little wider. No success, however the puller didn't broke, even so I have used all my force I had in pliers (the screwdriver gave up before this) and even so i put the puller into jaws of vice the gear didn' move. On the picture you see my Gear Puller with partially pulled out gear. I have too short M5 screw... Well, I think it's the best to print the Gear Puller with 1.0 fill, two perimeters, and even give some overextrude (I have used 110%). The print time is about one hour, with 0.334 layer thick and 80 mm/s speed, 0 degrees fill skew.
