((This is not a daily earring ;-) I know they can be made and shared, but what about the usage of the name?))My fiancée has a building block kit with one door missing. To avoid having a lego burglar breaking into the house, I printed it (3D printing is beyond awesome). The dimensions are slightly off (A little more narrow to ensure it opens, mixed up the distance to the top a little, but other then that, it is a very similar & compatible door).Picture of house with door following soon...Printed on it's back with support (pp3dp UP: 0.25/normal, 40°/10mm^2 support), worked fine. Print the door facing sidewards for higher resolution details (currently printing another one). The only downside on printing it on it's back with medium support settings is that the pin on top gets a little deformed but still worked.Printed standing on the wide side, axis upwards: Smooth teture, knob a little fragile, easy to clean (except the inner axis needed a bit of work with the knife, but printing with a improvised build platform atm). See new pictures (where only the white door is shown).I did not change the dimensions of the hole and pin (both 5mm diameter), so depending on the printer's setting and smudge it may require you to slightly sand it or put a coat of nail polish on etc. (or simply change the 3D model). Worked fine here, especially since it is held between lego blocks anyway.Without support, printing this laying or standing sideways on the axis might work best, but would require some clean up afterwards.
