Tbuser's Poopin Gnome made me laugh, but he seemed to be missing the top of his hat (too tall for the Makerbot Digitizer?) Time for a remix... Luckily, I found photos of "Squatting Garden Gnome" on Amazon (www.amazon.com/dp/B001E05KPK) and very roughly modelled the hat in Sculptris. Also added more creases to the eyes and beard, and extended the front hat brim (it didn't seem to have scanned as well as the rest of the gnome.) The whole model was tilted back 15 degrees and the feet squared off with NetFab. Thanks tbuser!!Scaled to 35% (78 mm tall) and printed on a Replicator in green ABS using raft & support; 0.3mm layer height and "low" settings - 230 deg extrusion, 100 deg platform, 100 mm/s. Hide in the shrubbery... and wait...
