So i wanted to throw the Octoprint logo on my raspberry pi case that i am going to run my printer via, and the only 3d modeled logo was in a specific case's .stl file. Stl is a pain in the butt to mess with, so I just traced it in rhino and saved a .dxf to share if others wanted to throw it into their prints as an engraving or embossing. Enjoy! If you don't know what OctoPrint here, see the webpage at http://www.OctoPrint.org The short story is its a server app that lets you control you printer, upload gcode files, and watch your printer print via webcam all off of a single computer, possibly even something as small and low power consuming as a raspberry pi. Also, it'll create timelapse video for you to of your print. Also, if you don't like the idea of trying to get a pi loaded with this up and running, check out OctoPi, http://guysoft.wordpress.com/2013/08/04/octopi/ its a ready made image with a working Raspbian Linux and a working OctoPrint software. flash the SD card, and install it and turn on the pi and you are ready to rock, you just have to follow instructions to, you know, actually use it.
