This is a spacer that allows the secure mounting of the larger pipe from the higher horsepower (150 HP) European Diesel VW on to the US spec (90 HP) car.I wasn't sure if ABS was up to the task or not, so I made them out of Brass. If A) you decide to try one in ABS OR B) You have a 3d printer + a Diesel VW. Be sure to post up here.I have these for Sale on Ebay + TDICLUB, doubt I'll move many, but to the best of my knowledge this is the only Open source car part for sale on Ebay + listed on Thingiverse, I hope it is the first of many.Print / turn down on Lathe, Add M6 x35 bolt + fender/ mud washer slide through factory rubber grommet on passengers rear side of motor, bolt in to place and enjoy a properly mounted TIP (Turbo Inlet Pipe).
