Ok so I want to build a Mame Cabinet, So Ive got the software working...sort of, Now I need some buttons....Ahh print some. I have used switches out of a washing machine control panel, simply because I have lots of them, I would have used microswitches but I only had enough for a joystick.. thats another project.. Print one of each: button, case, switchholder Clean up edge's if required, make sure the button moves freely inside the case. insert switch, make sure it is firmly seated in the holder otherwise it will sit up too high and be on all the time. Holding the case upsidedown drop the button in, then slip the switchholder assembly in and turn to lock in place. You could put a drop of glue in to stop it poping out, however I have found that they hold in quite nicely...so far.. Carefully solder your wires on to the switch terminals. You should be good to go.. I have included the Scad file (Still learning this scad stuff so it needs some polishing, i know, but it works for me). If you have a different switch just alter the switchholder and location slots to suit yourself..
