I modeled this daffodil in sculptris awhile back and discovered it looks pretty cool with an LED shining in it. For awhile I was playing around with some solar LED path lights and trying to create a solar lamp you could set in your window that resembled a potted plant.Update: Added new pictures for a better illustration of the solar light as potted plant idea. I've included the original complete model in case someone wants to do something else with it but it doesn't have the hole I cut through the base with openscad so it won't work for putting a light in it. I recommend printing the base and the bell separately to cut down on the support material required. Then you'll want to glue the two pieces together and for that I recommend this product, http://www.loctiteproducts.com/p/cntct_isns/overview/Loctite-Stikn-Seal-Indoor-Adhesive.htmI know people like to use acetone to bond parts together but I've found this stuff to work quite well and I don't have to worry about ventilating my work space.
