Printable version of a fairchild 22, a two seat touring or training plane, designed in the 1930. more information on http://www.multec.deAll parts are designed to be printable without support. Dimensions of the model: 27cm of wingspan, length about 19cm. Height of the highest parts: about 13cm. Make sure to use adhesive tape for holding the parts in place while printing. Some of them have a small base and are high.Print all parts and glue the model together. Tips for printing: Some of the parts need no fill. I did the body with perimeter only with good results. At first glue the wings together (I designed holes in order to make it easier to fit them together and used some 3mm pins to set them in position), then glue the wheels, pay attention to the inner part of each wheel. There is a place for the chassis frame on one part of the wheel. Next you can glue both chassis parts to the wheels. Glue the body to the piston (engine of the plane) and stick in both parts of the empenage. Connecting the wing to the body with the strutting is a bit tricky. I used a wire to connect the strutting to the body (the body has 3 small holes on each side to ensure the correct position of the strutting). After that glue the chassis to the body. There are slots to show the position of the chassis. At last you can glue the propeller in place.
