At 29,029ft Mt Everest is the tallest peak on Earth. The model lacks the detail found in the North American mountains because the best DEM dataset for the area is only 1". The nice thing is that you can print it quickly with thick slices without losing any detail. This is part of my series of "collectible mountains". All the models in this series are rendered at 1:100000. The model represents an area 10km x 10km. The bottom of the model sits at sea level so the different mountains can be accurately compared.
