This is a version of Skimbal's Turtle Shell Racer High Power, slightly modified to work with the New Bright #1680 model RC car. The original called for #2424 which does not seem to be available any longer. #1680 is available at Target as of this writing (May 2012) All the original files have been run through netfabb to fix slicing errors. There are a couple of new files and/or modifications needed - see the instructions. Follow the very well written directions in the original http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10526 with the following differences: Print the rear wheels at 1.25 scale (125%) in order to make the tires fit well. Print 2 of the supplied nut collars and use them to step down the recesses for the rear wheel nuts back to original size. The nut collar was done in SketchUp. Use the provided steering linkage instead of scavenging the one from the New Bright car. I don't see any reason why this can't be a printable part, and besides the dimensions on #1680 are slightly different so you can't use it as is. Find the source for it at https://tinkercad.com/things/8j18bxwGVZe/ I added a 1 Spike STL so you can more easily print the 5 spikes required for the blue shell. The suggested ESC does not seem to be available anywhere. I used a "071 50A 400W Brushed ESC W/Reverse" from eBay. The zip file contains all the individual STL & SKP files attached to this thing for easier download.
