This is the water jet of a fountain frozen in time. I scanned it with a Sense3d. . .just kidding, it's a Blender fluids model. Interestingly the inflow of water in the model starts out as a cube, but it quickly looses its symmetry. I've done other models which started as spheres and later evolved a square symmetry. Who knows what goes on under the hood of Blender's fluids engine, but it sure is awesome. I haven't printed it yet (Shapeways anyone?) buy please post if you do. It would be a great test of support.
