This is a pleasant turtle to have by your side as a faithful companion. The second version allows you to put him/her on a pencil. Made using Tinkercad. This is like a version 2 of my other turtle, but this is much bigger, thanks to a better slicing engine on Makerbot's part from the time I made the other one. This model is remarkably durable and can withstand some drops but not all, especially to the feet but the eyes are more stable than the last model. This works best as a test for most printers to see how well it can slice and print, or as a sort of "hello world" (although more like hello turtle). Does require supports.I used PLA Plastic in green for mine, but you can have any color you want. To use pencil topper function, put the pencil between the feet, facing the turtle's head. for thicker pencils and some pens use the other side. The secondary model is designed specifically for a standard pencil, and although very loose, it works. For bigger pencils, you can scale the turtle. It can withstand small drops but bigger drops can damage the feet and/or eyes. Print with supports.
