A very basic yet effective 60-80 mm fan mount for the Printrbot Plus with alu extruder. The fan is bolted through one of the corner holes, and the mount clamps to the side lip of the x carriage. All fasteners are extras from the older extruder, and I found the setup adequately firm once tightened.Solid infill, with PLA. I find using the larger, more powerful fan to be very helpful when printing low surface area per layer, as each layer has more time to cool, and thus further reduce warping. IMPORTANT The fan will draw more current than the printrboard is intended to handle. Use a separate power source (like the 150 watt power supply that came with the printer) triggered through a mosfet or relay. If you dont do this, you may have errors printing. ALSO Turn up the heat on your printbed if you intend to run a fan through the print. If you dont, the surface of the bed may be too cool for the extruded plastic to adhere. Either that, or have the fan turn on after 2 or 3 layers.
