A Raspberry Pi case with support for the RasPiComm extension board (http://amesberger.wordpress.com/2012/08/23/raspicomm-v3-almost-ready/)This is a Raspberry Pi case with outlets and screw mount for the RasPiComm extension board. I printed it on a Makerbot Replicator with 0.2mm layer height, default speed settings, ReplicatorG 0037 and skeinforge 50 and acceleration activated. You can use RasPiCommBoxPrint.stl if you want to print all at once. If you print the parts separately you have to rotate the RasPiCommBoxTop.stl 180° around the x-axis for printing, I uploaded it that way so you can see how it looks like in the 3d rendering. When printing separately you can choose between a version with mounting holes (RasPiCommBoxBottom.stl) or one without mounting holes (RasPiCommBoxBottomNoMount.stl).The mounting hole for the RasPiComm PCB has a 2.5mm diameter. I used a thread cutter to cut a 3mm thead into the plastic, you can then just use a 3mm screw to fix the RasPiComm board, so you can plug and pull the RasPiComm connectors without any concern. Here is a little trick to increase build quality of the cover plate: For printing RasPiCommBoxTop.stl I generated the g-code twice, one time with no extra shells and one time with 1 extra shell. I then combined the g-code so that I use 0 shells for all layers up to Z2.5 (2.5mm build height) and then use the g-code with shell for the rest. That way the Raspberry Pi logo print looks good, and you still have the extra stability for the more fragile structures higher up.Visit my blog for details about the RasPiComm Raspberry Pi extension board: http://amesberger.wordpress.com
