I have a Celestron 5SE telescope, which has a StarSense accessory fitted. This meant that there was no room to fit a finder scope to the telescope. I don't really like the red dot finder that came with the scope, but have a 9 x 50 right angled finder scope spare. Its quite a nice fit and sits under the StarSense mounting shoe. It will also work if you want to add a different finder scope to the original red dot finder, but I cannot guarantee it will be rigid enough. I have added an STL to adapt the Celestron Red dot finder to fit my finder scope adaptor and any Skywatcher finder scope shoe. I printed it at .2mm layer height, with 10% infill. You will need a 3mm dia bolt and nut. This is to tighten the finder scope to the holder, a bit like the real accessory shoe. You could glue the nut into the hexagonal recess inside the shoe to stop it coming out if you want.
