This is a basic j head mount to be screwed on to the existing hotend plate. This is the nondestructive approach, no metal work required and you only loose a 1-2cm in Y.
It fits now into my E3D V6 hotend and it dimensioned a bit to big to ensure a snug fit. V4 update: I added a little plate to hold a fan funnel (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:494430). Its screws in with the part that holds the hotend in place. The mounting plate can be screwed in with M2.5 screws in the upper to holes in the Y carriage.
Depending on the length of the hotend the mounting plate should be adjusted so that the nozzle ends ~5mm under the X carriage.
The available height in the mounting plate should include most hotends.
The clamp the holds the hotend in place uses 2x M3x30 screws.
