This is not a valid idea anymore the stability mods make this not necessary. The main problem with the Eventorbot is the Z-carriage. This upgrade tries to fix that by putting the smooth rods outside of the frame so the whole thing doesn't act as a lever anymore. The rod holder is now fitted so that you don't need to drill through the Z gantry. The Z gantry reaches roughly half way into the frame so the screw holes from the rod holder are in the back half of the frame. For the future I will try to reduce the space between bed and Z carriage to get more Z height by lifting the "arm" higher compared to the carriage. That will depend on how many screws we need to be in the center of the new construction. Its possible that we can go back to 2 screws if the outside rods preform as expected. [Caution] The model measurements are taken from the Eventorbot 1.0 sketchup model and not fitted precisely
