I wanted to try to take a 2D image - the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) fancy script logo found on a box in a Google Image - and turn it into a 3D printed object. This is the result. I used Paint, Inkscape, Tinkercad, Cura and Repetier-Host. Wanted to use MeshLab, but I couldn't get it to open on my computer. Wanted to use netfabb, but I can't afford it.I swapped out initial blue PLA for white filament at the start of printing the raised lettering.
