Another filament clip! Snaps to the side of the spool and holds the filament against the side wall. Wanted a clip that did not need post processing and would work straight out of the printer (even a bad one). Also i did not want a clip that I would need to thread the filament through. (My first Thingiverse upload).The clip has a short leg and a long leg. The short leg with a curved shape on the inner surface to hold the filament, the long leg with a nob that fixes the clip against the ridge on the outside of the spool. Grab the end of the 3 mm filament with the short leg of the clip press the clip over the side of the spool, pressing down so the nob catches the ridge.Be aware that this clip may not work on all types of spool.I also added a 1.75 mm version. This is untested however since I have a no 1,75 filament.Update: I have made an improved version of this clip: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:49309 That fits tighter to the side of the spool. This was necessary after I got my Printrbot properly calibrated.
