This is just a lower poly count version of VGer's awesome case (thing:92208). The bottom is a lower poly version of thing:158664, one of the former object's derivatives. I had trouble when I tried to print these parts - it even crashed repetier-host, a first for me! I ran both parts Meshlab's quadratic edge collapse decimation filter (set to 50%) a few times, I was able to get it down significantly! The top part I got down to 556 vertices (from 37K), and the bottom part down to just 1212 vertices (from 38K). Basically I kept hitting apply until the vertices were way low and the model still had all the detail. Turning on the wireframe let me see that there was a whole lot of vertices in the model that were not really going to make it look any better when I printed it on my somewhat rough-around-the-edges printr ;) Printed great on my Printrbot using Repetier Host and Slicr. Hopefully it works for you!Printed on my Printrbot with 0.2mm layer height, 25% hexagonal infill and 2 outer perimeters.
