If I had a motor with more torque it would work, but I don't. So, we're left with something that moves up and down really fast. This design is meant to house a 9v DC motor and a 9v battery. My dream idea is to make a scrubber strong enough to actually clean standard dirty dishes and then attach it to a programmable robot arm. Just another step towards home automation! Check it out in action (without sponges): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojeUOLK0EWY&feature=youtu.bePrint all 5 parts Purchase following parts: 9V Motor (RadioShack:273-047) 9V Battery Momentary Pushbutton NO (RadioShack:275-1547) Drill hole in desired location for momentary pushbutton Solder connections together Install the "Spindle" onto the spindle of the motor Assemble "Lever" and "Attachment Slider" to the "Spindle" Install motor assembly, pushbutton, and attach 9V into "Motor Housing" and secure pushbutton using provided nut Rotate "Attachment Slider" so that it fits through the "Faceplate" Ensuring that the "Faceplate" doesn't touch the pin for the "Spindle", glue the "Faceplate" onto "Motor Housing"
